Large Amusement Equipment Mechanical Operation Solutions

1. Chain jitter. The possible reasons are that the chain is too loose, the load is too large, or one or more links are not flexible. The solution is to install a chain tensioning device or adjustable center distance. Try to Reduce the load if possible.

2. The chainplate fatigue. When the load is too large and exceeds the fatigue limit of the chainplate, the chainplate will fatigue and produce micro-cracks around the hole until it breaks. The solution is to reduce the load or replace the chain with large carrying capacity.

3. Sprocket teeth wear. If there is obvious wear on both sides of the sprocket teeth, the transmission alignment is not good. If there is a “bent groove” that means excessive wear, the sprocket should be replaced, or the sprocket can be reversed so that the lighter side faces the chain. It is better to replace the excessively worn sprocket with the chain.

4. Pin wear. The cause of pin wear may be due to insufficient lubrication. Always check the lubricant for abrasives or change the lubrication method.

5. The chain and sprocket are not well coordinated. If the chain and the sprocket are not well coordinated, the chain hinge may be worn and the pitch is extended. If there is a tooth jump, the chain should be replaced in time. If the sprocket is worn, it must be replaced to avoid damage to the new chain.

6. Side grinding of chainplate. If the inner surface of the inner link chain wrench is badly worn, it means that the transmission is not aligned. The solution is to check the alignment of the shaft and sprocket. If there is no problem with the installation, it can be observed whether the rigidity is insufficient due to excessive load-deformation during operation.

7. Pin glue. China Amusement Equipment Information Network reminds you that pin glue is generally caused by insufficient oil supply. If only one end is glued, it is necessary to check the installation of the shaft and the sprocket, whether the shaft is parallel, whether the sprocket is coplanar, and whether the shaft and the sprocket move during operation.

8. The chain tension is abnormal. The tension of the chain is related to the sagging distance of the loose side of the chain. For horizontal and tilt drives with adjustable center distance, the sag of the loose side of the chain should be about 2% of the center distance. The vertical transmission of the centerline or vibration load, reverse transmission should make the chain tenser.

9. The chain running noise is too loud. The reason may be that the sprockets are not coplanar, the chain is too tight or too small, insufficient lubrication, the chain and sprocket wear, or the chain pitch size is too large. when this kind of problem is encountered, it is necessary to check the situation that the front and rear axles are parallel and the sprocket is coplanar to correct it. Adjust the center distance and the tensioning device to obtain proper tightness and ensure lubrication to the workpiece.

10. The front and rear axes are not parallel, and the coplanarity of the sprocket is poor. In terms of wear life, the performance of the chain depends to a large extent on the correct installation of the front and rear axles and sprockets. The requirement is that the parallelism of the front and rear axes is within 1/300. The coplanarity of the front and rear wheels is 0.5~1.0 mm/m. If the above problems are found during the operation of the chain, it should be adjusted in time.
